Pointless, it does not support Avi and others, truly frustrating restriction and it crashes consistently for no reason. As DLNA clients go, give it a miss until wider format support is available. Its free, but even then its too expensive.

Hardly detects dlna servers, and when it does, cannot retrieve any data !!! Cannot even find music stored on the IPhone itself !

I can not redirect the playback to by Denon 3808 AMP (latest firmware). While other apps can redirect (8Player e.g. ). Why does this software not find it? Alles other handling is perfect. Best App. in store (ive tried them all). But without better identification of Playback and maybe Serverdevices, this is useless. I will keep an eye and update this if there is progress.

With mediatomb xbmc and ipod(mp4)

Surf, download, making playlist all from local network ...very useful !!! The only thing, vidéo on mp4 only for reading :(

Limited video format support. No other language support - if MP3 filename or tag is not English, the app cannot play the mp3 and has error message. Cant find any support for this app on their website. Lucky it is free!

Very unhappy with this. Keeps dropping my server and crashes all the time.

My favorite dlna app. Allows me to navigate and play media from my dlna server to my tv.

How does this thing work? What does it mean server? Do I have to download something on the computer? What the hell? Delete!

Creating a playlist is real pain in the axx. Adding on song at the time? I dont have all day to do this. What about support for adding whole albums or folders or even multiple albums or folders. Its been done before. Also Help file or tutorial would be good. Why to keep gessing what this or that means. Poorly done app. Needs updating fast or it is gone. I have no room time or patience for crapy apps.

Does not work with the TVMOBili server. The menu navigation works very well, (even thumbnails do render fine) but cannot play videos at all. Tried different formats. Always the same error. Unusable. Please try and test with that free DLNA server and fix your application. Once fixed, Ill review my ratings.

This application needs entire rework...

Crashed a few times when searching/selecting songs on an iPod Touch. Not sure why because it has worked flawlessly on my iPad and iPhone. WAY BETTER layout than Media:Connect which is $7.99 for the full version. Very easy to setup a playlist and works perfectly with my Apple TV & Airport Express setup streaming from my Western Digital Live Hard Drive.

App is very easy to use - the difficulties people have are likely due to not having a NAS set up. If you dont have an external drive set up for networking and sharing, youre not going to be able to utilize this app, period. Looks intuitive like most other streaming apps. The only hugely massive drawback is file support. All my files are .avi, which is unsupported. Could easily get five stars if it supported a wider variety.

My intention was to play photos and videos on my Sony Internet tv but I guess it doesnt work that way
