SmartStor Fusion Stream DLNA Digital Media App App Reviews

Downloaded this for use as a dlna client, but it wont play the most common video format. Disappointing. Also not a pretty app but I would gladly have overlooked that for proper video support.

This app seems to be out of date - their support web site doesn’t even appear to work and the only items I can see in it are from years ago. The app does browse DLNA sources but reports an error on every file format I tried it on. Probably should be removed from the App Store...

Waste of money and time, it doesnt have any codec (mpg,avi,mkv,etc). Better use nPlayer, it I amazing and support all type.

I mean all the time. Not stable.

Any files I select, I get a message saying "file type not supported", mp4, mp3, avi, or wmv. I cannot use it at all. Also, when I scroll a long list, it stops and suddenly shuts down. Time waster! いろいろ試しましたが、mp4, mp3, avi, や wmv どのファイルを選んでも "file type not supported" というメッセージがでて、全く使えません。それから、長いリストをスクロールして行くと、突然落ちます。最悪です。 時間を無駄にしました。

使い勝手は悪くないんですが、先頭が日本語始まりのディレクトリは全く見えません。残念。 This soft dont support directory starting with UTF-8 character!

God, this is the worst app ever.

add more video formats, please.

It will play most any video but there is no way to stop the video or return to the previous screen. The player just freezes and will not respond to tapping the screen.

I guess its the thought that counts. Does this app support any file format at all, i cant get it to play anything. I think your suppose to buy some device from them in order for it to work. Its worthless, I guess thats why it is free.

Whats the point without avi support?

I used both this version and the one that the Javelin S4 NAS offers (same app) both seems to behave the same way. Most of the time it wouldnt see any servers unless I refreshed several times. Then, after selecting a movie or song to play it would just bomb. It worked a few times but I was never able to listen to a whole song or watch a video to completion. I ended up sending the Javelin back as well. They are both nice products that might be ready for prime time soon but not quite there yet.

Ok if someone would tell me how to use this app that would be great.

App saw my smb and upnp shares, no problem. When I try to play any videos, though, I only get "format not supported". In a world of AVIs and MKVs, this app isnt useful.

I tried several apps like this, all of them have issurs but this was the first that didnt recognize any of my servers or renderers. Useless.

UI looks great but with no avi support this is a virtual useless app for. Adding support for this common codec would result in better reviews and many more downloads.
